The house has an attractive and welcoming facade and a front garden area with parking facilities. The rear garden offers a well-kept space comprising a large lawn, flower beds, shrubs and trees, offering guests the possibility of enjoying breakfast, lunch or, perhaps, in the summer, supper, outdoors on the patio, in a beautiful and peaceful setting.The house facilities are located on the ground floor.
The Breakfast Room
From the imposing main entrance, guests are welcomed into the hallway that boasts a restored flagstone floor.
The Breakfast Room is decorated in a tranquil duck-egg blue and features traditional furniture, a beautifully-restored Arts and Crafts fireplace, individual tables and French doors that offer a fine view of, and access to, the rear garden – altogether a relaxing environment to enhance guests’ breakfast and dining experiences.
Although The Lions is a bed and breakfast establishment, lunches and evening meals can be provided by prior arrangement. Wherever possible, all produce is locally sourced and / or made in house using the finest ingredients.
The Reading Lounge
The Reading Lounge is welcoming and cosy, with comfortable sofas and a wood-burning stove, making it the ideal place in which to relax. Guests can browse newspapers and magazines, select a volume from the selection of books available, listen to music or simply unwind at the end of a busy day.

The rear garden offers a well-kept space comprising a large lawn, flower beds, shrubs and trees, offering guests the possibility of enjoying breakfast, lunch or, perhaps, in the summer, supper, outdoors on the patio, in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
